Privacy Policy

What we collect
Your account email, profile details you choose to add (name, @handle, photo, bio), the posts, reels, reviews, comments, keepsakes and messages you create, restaurant check-ins, and Plate Points.
Order Ingredients taps
When you tap a store, we record which recipe, which store, which ingredients and whether you were signed in. Stores and sponsors only ever see combined totals — never who you are.
Who can see your stuff
Public accounts: posts are visible to anyone. Private accounts: only approved followers see your posts and media. Messages are only visible to the people in the conversation. Reports are anonymous.
Shopping links
Store buttons send you to H-E-B, Kroger, Walmart, Instacart, DoorDash or Amazon. Those sites have their own privacy policies. As an Amazon Associate, Pass the Plate earns from qualifying purchases.
What we never do
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't show your individual reactions or shopping taps to other members or businesses.
Photo helpers
When you use photo auto-fill or Snap a Plate, your photo is sent to an AI service to suggest a recipe. It isn't used to identify you.
Your choices
Edit your profile anytime, switch to a private account, block people, delete your posts and keepsakes. To delete your whole account, message the Pass the Plate owner (@busybodyinfant) and we'll remove it.
Kids
Pass the Plate is meant for people 13 and older.
